George Colliar Limited joined the New Holland Construction dealer network in the summer and was immediately in the thick of it: as soon as the partnership was announced, our newest dealer was with us at the Royal Highland Show to present the new 200 Series skid steer loaders and B Series backhoe loaders.
George Colliar Ltd brings to our customers the benefit of 40 years in the industry. Based in Kinross, the dealership is able to support customers with a full offering of products and services, including equipment hire through their established hire company.

A New Holland B115B backhoe loader was used in June to carry out preparation work for the archaeological dig of the “Queen’s tumulus” in the Etruscan necropolis of Tarquinia, in Italy. This included creating steps and escarpments at the back of the site, to make it secure. The B115B then performed the delicate task of opening the tomb and removing a large stone slab closing one of the two sepulchral chambers. Once the B115B had fulfilled its role, a team of 25 students, archaeologists and restorers took over.
Prof. Alessandro Mandolesi, professor in Etruscan and Italian Antiquity Studies at the University of Turin and coordinator of the archaeological digs, is very pleased with our B115B’s performance: “ it is a very versatile machine, and very well suited to the work of preparing and securing the archaeological digs.”
Romana Diesel, one of Fiat Industrial’s biggest dealers, provided technical support for the B115B throughout the project.
