New Holland celebrated the final stage of its Energy Saving Grand Prix on Saturday 8 October at the brand new Fiat Industrial Village in Turin, Italy. Throughout the competition’s stages, the New Holland Construction machines involved amply demonstrated their exceptional fuel efficiency.
The 25 participants of the final, having got through the qualifying rounds that took place over the preceding months in seven European countries, tackled four skills tests, which highlighted the versatility and precision of the machines involved:

  • Slalom & Goal with an L218 skid steer loader
  • Take the Ball with a B115B backhoe loader
  • Raising the Bar with a W170C wheel loader
  • Building the Pyramid with an E305C crawler excavator.

The winners of the four individual competitions and the overall champion were announced to an enthusiastic 1,500 strong audience.  Mark Abresch from Frankfurt, Germany, was crowned Champion, having qualified among the top three finalists in all four challenges and demonstrating tremendous skill and determination.
The winners shared the limelight with the New Holland Construction new models that took part in the competition – the new C Series wheel loaders and crawler excavators, which feature New Holland’s Tier 4 AdBlue® technology, and the new Series 200 skid steer loaders and compact track loaders.
The venue added to the excitement of the event: the newly opened Fiat Industrial Village is the world’s first Fiat Industrial multi-purpose centre and provides the New Holland Construction, New Holland Agriculture, Iveco and FPT Industrial brands with an impressive showroom, play and relaxation areas, and spaces dedicated to the brands’ sales and service organisations.

New Holland Construction hosted jointly with dealer FRB Baumaschinen GmbH a prestigious event dedicated to specialists from the Road Building industry from Germany, France Poland and the Czech Republic. The Symposium, which was held at FRB’s premises, aimed at presenting New Holland’s specialist offering of products and services for the road building sector.
In addition to the unveiling and demonstrations of the latest models, representatives from CNH’s marketing, sales and product specialist teams were on hand to give exhaustive presentations on the latest features and technologies available to the guests – in particular New Holland’s Tier 4 AdBlue® technology.
The grounds of FRB had been especially set up for the event, with a tented area for presentations and demonstration plots to showcase the performance of the new generation machines.
The demonstrations featured the brand new F106.7A and F156.7A graders, D150B and D180 dozers, the new C Series E265C and E305C crawler excavators, and a new W230C wheel loader. The E235B SR short radius excavator attracted particular attention with its exceptionally quiet operation (just 95 dB like a mini excavator), which makes it particularly well suited to urban jobsites. In addition, technical partner SITECH demonstrated the latest Trimble guidance technology, which they had installed on the D150, F156.7A and E235B SR.
The guests greatly appreciated the opportunity to quiz extensively the CNH product specialists about the new equipment and to test drive the machines.  The New Holland and FRB hosts pronounced themselves very satisfied with the event, which they felt had successfully highlighted the powerful support the brand can give its customers, as well as its specialist knowledge of their industry.

Following the floods that hit the north-western Liguria region last month, Fiat Industrial provided local authorities with machinery, operators and technical support for the rescue operation. New Holland participated with mini excavators, skid steer loaders and compact wheel loaders, which are particularly effective when working in tight spaces and in difficult conditions. Our sister company Iveco contributed with trucks to transport the rubble and debris. New Holland and Iveco mobile workshops and technicians were on site to support the machines and trucks at work.

We are always looking at ways to improve the way we support you and our dealers with promotional material and branded clothing. To do that, we have recently changed our approach, as well as the supplier of this merchandising material.
The most important element of our new approach is that our new supplier, Seri System SpA., is now responsible for developing the collections, selecting and producing the items in direct collaboration with you and the dealers. In addition, it will be possible to personalise the items, for example with the name of the dealership. This will ensure that the items available on the new Online Store will meet your requirements, and that the collections evolve as your needs change.
The new Online Store at its usual address http://www.store.newholland.com/en, but new credentials are needed to register. All the necessary information to do that has been sent to all sales and dealer staff. If you haven’t received them, please contact mailto:assistenzanhce@serisystem.com.
Do log in and have a look: for now most of the items are from our existing stock, but as the supplier works through your and the dealers’ suggestions, new collections will become available.
